Hare Krishna dear all:
Please accept our humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupad.
While planning and executing the New Temple Project, we realize that we need to ensure the monthly budget for present Temple & the same is applicable for the new temple. In addition, we also need to make arrangement for the repayment of the prospective loan for the new temple.
So, the new temple would need around million yen a month to function. Or we need at least 500,000 for the present temple to function.
Ideally, temple should have its own business OR regular congregation should maintain the temple. Presently, in the absence of former, we have to resort to the latter.
We are requesting a minimum of 10,000 yen monthly contribution from all members. But things differ from person to person. It may be less or more. Hence monthly contributing amount does not matter much but your participation DOES matter for the program to be successful.
This monthly contribution seva is also for purifying our existence & income by engaging it in Lord Krishna's service. It also reduces the karmic reaction hidden there under. From temple perspective, regular income is very important for stability. This program also creates an atmosphere of one family with Lord Krishna at the center.

ISKCON New Gaya Bank Accounts for Temple Pillar Program / Sankirtan Membership:
Once a devotee asked the temple president (TP), how much should he donate. TP replied, "It should not be too less that you don't care. It should not be so much that you panic. It should be as much as it pinches you and are in the stretching zone." Same principle applies everywhere.
"I do not want to use Krsna for my purposes but I would like to be used for Krsna's purposes."
Thank you very much for your perusal & mercy in engaging us.
Your servants @ ISKCON NEW GAYA Temple Pillar Team.
